I am truly honoured and privileged to be considered to capture such a momentous journey.
My newborn photography approach can include styled newborn images, or more natural lifestyle images reflecting your family’s home environment and nursery décor.
As I have a ‘mobile newborn studio’, all of my images are captured in your own home. As a mum of four children, I know how daunting and uncomfortable it can be for families to leave the house, especially in those early days, so I would love to come and meet you in your own environment (I promise, I do not look at any mess or clutter, I am usually too focused on glancing at your new bundle, or getting to know older siblings before I pick out the most practical spot to capture your images).

- I have a relaxed approach to newborn sessions as babies can be unpredictable and need irregular feeds. These sessions generally include 3 set-ups and can include a few family and sibling images. I carefully liaise with you on tones and props to bring so you will be presented with looks you love.

Your top questions answered!
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers for a photography session are a lovely present. These can be given for any amount towards a package, or a package in full, and are gift wrapped for special delivery.
Where are you based?
I live in Albury, however I travel throughout the Riverina and North East Victoria region for shoots, so please enquire if you have a special location in mind for a session.
How old should my newborn be for the session?
If you are wishing for a styled session, it is best for babies to be captured under 12 days when they are still sleepy, squishy and curly. Sometimes hospital stays need to be longer, so I carefully liaise with you on the timing.
For lifestyle sessions, babies can be any age.
How soon should we book in?
It is best to book in as early as possible, although I can often accommodate last minute bookings, so it is worth getting in touch!
How do we make a booking when we don’t know exactly when our baby will be born?
I pencil in your due date and we adjust the booking as you reach that date. I just ask that you try and let me know within 48 hours that your baby has arrived.
How long do sessions take?
Generally styled sessions take up to 4 hours depending on how settled your baby is and how much feeding and settling is needed. Family and sibling images can add additional time too. For the lifestyle images, there isn’t as much time taken for wrapping and setting up, so I generally allow 2-2.5 hours. I am very relaxed and generally know when I will have enough images for your gallery.
What are the props included?
I have a few backdrops, baskets, nests, crates, as well as various wraps, bonnets and accessories. We generally liaise in the lead up as to tones and general images you like.
Will our home suit your mobile studio?
I choose a location in your home close to a window (natural light) and set up my props. I usually only need a couple of metres of space.
Are you insured and do you have relevant working with children’s checks?
I have a current NSW Working with Children’s Check and I have $20 million public liability cover. Mine and my family’s vaccinations are all up-to-date.
Do you share photos on your website and social media?
I will ask you at the time of your session if you are happy for me to share your images. I am respectful that some families may not feel comfortable with me sharing their photographs, so it is always your choice and completely up to you.
When will we receive our gallery?
I hope to have family images completed within 3 to 4 weeks (often much quicker).
